Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Part brownie, part cookie and completely delicious! Rolled generously in powdered sugar these cracked cookies are fudgy, sweet, and addictive!

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup powdered sugar

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt. Set aside.
2. In a large bowl or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat butter until creamy.
3. Add sugars and mix until combined.
4. Add egg and vanilla. Mix for another minute until well blended.
5. Add flour mixture to the wet mixture and mix on low until incorporated.
6. Mix in the chocolate chips.
7. Cover and place dough in refrigerator and chill for about an hour.
8. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line cookie sheet with parchment paper.
9. Scoop 2 tablespoon globs of dough using a cookie scoop or a spoon and roll into balls.
10. Roll dough balls generously in powdered sugar.
11. Place on baking sheet 3” apart. (no more than 8 at a time to allow cookies to spread)
12. Bake for 11-12 minutes until the edges and look set but the middle is still soft.
13. Remove from oven and sprinkle with extra powdered sugar if desired.
