Directions

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees and line a 9x13 baking pan with parchment paper.

2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.  Set aside.

3. In a large bowl add the butter, oil, and sugar.  Whisk or mix until combined.

4. Whisk together the eggs and vanilla.  Add to the bowl.

5. Mix until well combined.

6. Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture.

7. Mix until just combined.  Do not overmix.

8. Stir in the mini-chocolate chips.

9. Pour the batter into the pan and spread evenly.

10. Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.

11. Let cool completely in pan.

12. Let chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before cutting into squares.  While brownies are cooling make the buttercream.

13. In a large bowl or a stand mixer, add butter and salt beat until smooth and creamy.

14. Add vanilla and beat together.

15. Add the powdered sugar and mix on low.  Mixture will be thick and clumpy.

16. Slowly add the milk a little at a time while mixing until desired consistency is reached.

17. Frost each brownie square with buttercream.  You can use a warm knife to smooth the icing on top.

18. Decorate with the candies to look like playing dice.
