- 16 ounces Italian sausage, casing removed (chicken, turkey, or pork)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil, divided
- 1 large onion, diced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2- 14 ounce diced tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 16 ounces farfalle pasta
- 1/4 cup cream cheese
- 6 cups fresh kale, stems removed and torn into bite-size pieces
- Parmesan cheese for garnish
