Snickerdoodle Blondie

If you are looking for an easy sweet treat to make for the next bake sale...try this snickerdoodle blondie! The best part of a snickerdoodle combined with the chewy goodness of a blondie!


Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a 9x13 baking dish with parchment paper. Set aside.

2. In a medium bowl combine flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Set aside.

3. In a large bowl, beat butter until smooth and creamy. Slowly add sugar and blend together.

4. In a small bowl add eggs and milk. Beat with a fork and add to butter mixture. Mix thoroughly.

5. Slowly add flour mixture and stir together.

6. Spread batter evenly in baking dish.

7. In a small bowl, combine the 2 tablespoons of sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle 2/3 of the cinnamon/sugar over batter, reserving the rest for after baking.

8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until blondies are slightly brown along the edges.

9. Remove from oven and let cool completely in pan. Cut into bars and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon/sugar.

  • 2 large eggs
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
