Directions

1.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter and beat until smooth and creamy.

3. Add the sugar and blend together until combined.

4. Add the egg and beat until incorporated.

5. Add the flour mixture. Mix until just combined.

6. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour.

7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

8. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.

9. Scoop 1 1/2-inch globs (golf ball size) of dough and gently roll in the sugar/cinnamon mixture.

10. Place coated dough balls on baking sheet spaced 2" apart.

11. Bake for 10-12 minutes until bottoms are a light golden color.

12. Remove from oven and let cool. Enjoy!
