Add oil to a large wok or heavy saucepan with a tight-fitting lid. Heat oil over medium-high heat until hot.

Remove pan from heat and add the garlic, ginger, green onions and red pepper flakes stirring constantly. Cook for around 30 seconds until fragrant.

Return pan to heat and add the green beans and sauté for 2 minutes tossing them occasionally.

Turn heat down to medium. Add the water and put the lid on the pan.

Steam the green beans for 5 minutes. Make the sauce.

In a small bowl, whisk together the red curry paste, soy sauce, vinegar, lemon juice and brown sugar.

After green beans are done steaming, remove the lid and add sauce. Toss the beans and sauce together.
8.
Turn heat to high and continue cooking until the green beans are crisp and blistered.
9.
Garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.
