Why buy whipped cream in a can?  This whipped cream recipe is so easy and tastes so much better than store bought.

1. Place mixer bowl in freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.

2. Pour heavy whipping, powdered sugar and vanilla into the cold bowl.

3. Using a hand mixer or the whisk attachment of your stand mixer, beat ingredients on low until combined.

4. Beat for another minute or two on high speed until stiff peaks form.

  • 1 1/2 cups cold heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions:

  1. Place mixer bowl in freezer for at least 20 minutes to chill.
  2. Pour heavy whipping, powdered sugar and vanilla into the cold bowl.
  3. Using a hand mixer or the whisk attachment of your stand mixer, beat ingredients on low until combined.
  4. Beat for another minute or two on high speed until stiff peaks form.

Notes:

You can substitute the powdered sugar for granulated sugar. The powdered sugar makes for a thicker whipped cream.
